Assistant Track Coachacceptable character development self discipline self confidence and pride ofaccomplishment in the student athletes. To upgrade his/her knowledge and skillsthrough coaching clinics observations consultation etc.
Qualifications
- Has the ability to organize and supervise a total sports program.
- The coach must have substantial knowledge of the technical aspects of the sportand at the same time must continue to examine new theories and procedures pertinent to the field.
- The coach must serve as an appropriate role model for student athletes throughhis/her instructions and actions.
Certifications
- Valid CHRC
- Has a thorough knowledge of all the athletic policies approved by theMt. Blue DistrictSchools Board of Education and is responsible for their implementation.
- Has knowledge of existing system state and league regulations.
Education
- The coach must be at least 20 years of age or a high school graduate.
Experience
- Comprehensive knowledge of the game is preferred as well asknowledge of current coaching techniques and procedures. Knowledge of NFHS and MPA Rules. Demonstrate ability to instruct and supervise student athletes.
- Flexible after school hours required for scheduled matches both home and away.
- Travelto home and away matches. Travel to state team and individual competitions when players qualify.
Reports To:Director of Athletics / Building Administration
Terms of Employment: As determined annually by the District.
Evaluation:Completed annually byDirector of Athletics
FLSA Status:Exempt
Stipend: $1165
