Mathnasium of Converse is looking for an exceptional Math Tutor to create an engaging and productive learning experience for students. This is a part-time role with flexible hours.

Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional instruction to students
- Positively interact with parents
- Become proficient with digital educational materials & processes
- Tutor in-center online (after at least 6 months of in-center) and/or via hybrid delivery using the Mathnasium Method terminology and tutoring practices which include individualized instruction in a group setting
- Assess students progress throughout instructional sessions and work collaboratively with team members to deliver the best instruction possible.
Qualifications:
- Exceptional math competency through at least Algebra 2
- A passion for math and working with students

We have been open for almost nine years and have a great team of tutors. We typically employ 14-18 instructors so we are pretty small. This job looks great on your resume because of the focus on helping students. We also have several volunteer opportunities throughout the year.

Compensation: $13.00 - $14.50 per hour
Mathnasium locations are independently owned and operated by franchisees of Mathnasium Center Licensing LLC (Mathnasium). Franchisees are independent business people and not employed by Mathnasium. Thus each franchisee and each franchisee center is unique and the franchisee is alone responsible for all employment matters in their center. If you are hired to work at a center the franchisee will be your employer not Mathnasium.
