JobGoal(s):RSU #9 is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Math Interventionist to contribute to our Title I program serving students in grades K-5.

This position involves providing essential Tier 1 2 and 3 math support under the direction of certified teachers or independetly based on appropriate certification. Key responsibilities include assisting with math assessments implementing intervention plans in small group or one-on-one settings monitoring student progress and collaborating effectively with classroom teachers to ensure alignment with curriculum goals. Candidates should possess experience working with elementary-aged students and demonstrate a solid understanding of fundamental math concepts.

Qualifications

Ed Tech III Certification required
Teacher Endoresement prefered

Certifications

Maine DOE Certification -Ed Tech III
General Elementary (020) Teacher - Math(300) or similar endorsement prefered

School Year Only 179/180 days

Travel Requirements

Travel between schools or district buildingsmay be required.

Reports To:Building Principal & works closely with the District Math Coordinator

Salary Range:

Ed Tech (Track 9) $23.81 -$28.11 per hour
Professional Teacher$43721 -$81299 annually
Final rate is determined by candidate qualifications relevant experience certification and skills.

Terms of Employment:

As determined annually by the District.
This is a one year position.

Evaluation:Completed annually by Principal or their designee.
