Job Description
BAE Systems one of the worlds leading defense contractors and a stable Fortune 500 Company is seeking detailed oriented and highly motivated individuals to fill the role of Line Driver in the Materials Handling Department at the Holston Army Ammunition Plant in Kingsport TN. We have multiple positions available.

Job responsibilities include but are not limited to transporting material via trailer throughout the plant performing daily inspections of vehicle (Tractor-Trailer) keeping up with paperwork associated with job and communicating with other departments.

Physical Demands include climbing in and out of truck at least 25 times per shift. Potential to handle up to 60 lbs. boxes.

Mental and/or Visual Demands: Keeping track of pulls that need to be made remaining calm if you fall behind keeping eyes on task at hand.

Working Conditions: Job requires you to be outside while hooking and unhooking trailers.

Special Notes: This job requires the ability to be able to back a trailer into some tight areas.
Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities
Required Education Experience & Skills
Required education: High School/GED
Basic understanding of truck/trailer and fork truck operations - please detail experience in your application / resume.
Must have and be able to maintain a valid drivers license.

Preferred Education Experience & Skills
CDL Class A
Previous experience operating farm equipment.
Previous experience in driving a forklift.
Previous experience in working on shipping docks.
Experience using Microsoft Word and Excel.

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $29093 - $46550

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including but not limited to: business considerations local market conditions and internal equity as well as candidate qualifications such as skills education and experience.
