Job Description: Preferred Personnel Solutions is seeking to hire a Material Handling Specialist for a warehouse located in Suwanee!

We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependableMaterials Handling Specialistto support our manufacturing operations. This role is responsible for material movement inventory accuracy production kitting and SAP inventory transactions. The ideal candidate has warehouse or inventory control experience strong SAP skills and thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications for Material Handling Specialists:

After meeting all of PPS standard qualifications Candidate must meet below qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED.

• Experience operating a sit-down forklift.

• Strong computer skills with SAP ERP experience.

• Ability to lift and move materials safely in accordance with industrial safety standards.

• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to inventory accuracy.

• Strong organizational communication and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

• Willing to submit to a drug screening and background check.

Assignment Duties for Material Handling Specialists:

• Operate a sit-down forklift safely and efficiently.

• Move materials from Incoming Quality to Main Stores and Warehouse while ensuring accurate physical placement and SAP transactions.

• Prepare production kits based on kit sheets issued by the Material Planner.

• Communicate kit shortages to the Material Planner and replenish kits as materials become available.

• Verify and issue completed production kits to Production using both physical verification and SAP transactions.

• Investigate and resolve kit discrepancies or mismatches identified during Production verification.

• Receive returned kits from Production perform manual and X-ray material counts restock inventory and update SAP inventory records.

• Maintain accurate inventory quantities and warehouse locations through routine inventory management.

• Perform cycle counts and physical inventories as directed.

• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies during work order closeout.

• Process manual material issue transactions in SAP.

• Maintain clean organized and safe warehouse areas while following 6S standards.

• Partner with Production Planning and Quality teams to resolve material shortages and inventory issues.

• Conduct weekly inventories of consumables and chemicals and maintain the online inventory tracking system.

• Support additional warehouse inventory and production activities as assigned.

Shift Details: Monday-Friday 8:00AM-3:00PM

Pay Rate: $21.00/hour
