Job Summary

Abacus is seeking a hardworking reliable and flexible Warehouse Associate to join our fast-growing this role you will be integral to our daily operations performing various warehouse duties such as sorting loading unloading and receiving materials.

Key Responsibilities:
- Process pack and ship orders accurately to ensure timely delivery.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities of a Warehouse Associate

  • Receive and process incoming stock and materials ensuring accurate documentation and organization.
  • Pick and fill orders from stock adhering to customer specifications and company standards.
  • Pack and ship orders efficiently maintaining product integrity and preparing goods for delivery.
  • Manage organize and retrieve stock within the warehouse optimizing space and accessibility.
  • Inspect products for defects and damages ensuring quality control before shipping.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records regularly updating stock levels and conducting audits.
  • Operate warehouse equipment including forklifts and pallet jacks safely and effectively.
  • Follow safety procedures and guidelines to create a secure working environment for all staff.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals and enhance productivity.
  • Assist in training new warehouse staff sharing knowledge of processes and safety protocols.
  • Organize the movement of items in and out of the warehouse ensuring proper stocking and reordering as necessary.
  • Pack items according to customer preferences and company guidelines ensuring the final product meets quality standards.
  • Provide customer service by liaising between warehouse staff and customers processing orders and maintaining accurate records.
  • Load goods efficiently and safely into vehicles or shipping containers ensuring brand consistency and verifying loading patterns.
  • Perform general warehouse duties including receiving processing and shipping items while maintaining quality control.
  • Work with warehouse clerks to ensure successful shipment of goods reviewing orders for accuracy and coordinating outbound shipments.
