Division Specific Information:

  • This role is in the Single Use Division and will be performed at our Logan Utah location.

How You Will Make an Impact:

As a Sr Material Handler you will rotate between a variety of specialties to ensure warehouse operations flow smoothly. This role will rotate between training technicians completing move orders running the small parts room and other areas as needed. You will work in a warehouse environment where you will receive store and transact all materials that move through the warehouse while adhering to Standard Operating Procedures Work Instruction Documents and safety requirements. Sr Material Handlers will maintain the Advanced Technician certification for their department.


Day in the Life:

  • Work in a warehouse environment ensuring safe accurate and timely order fulfillment.

  • Use tools and equipment such as computers tape guns scanners pallet jacks and Power Industrial Trucks (PITs).

  • Deliver materials to other buildings using company vehicles (box truck and van).

  • Receive and fill orders accurately and safely placing materials in the appropriate locations in a timely manner.

  • Train technicians on standard operating procedures and safety requirements for the warehouse.

  • Pick and deliver move orders for materials to other departments and update inventory management systems accordingly. Ensure paperwork and digital inventory transactions are accurate.

  • Follow procedures to complete cycle counts for the small parts area. Ensure inventory accuracy by documenting or resolving errors. Keep the small parts area stocked.

  • Rotate between specialist areas as needed keep training in each area up to date.

  • Follow safety standards Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) requirements company operating procedures and policies.

  • Ensure products meet quality standards by collaborating with other stations and departments to address quality errors.

  • Participate in Practical Process Improvements (PPI) activities and Safety Gembas.

  • Work effectively to consistently meet goals as an individual and as part of a team.

  • Focus on personal development through timely completion of training.

  • Adhere to schedule to meet department and site goals while maintaining focus on quality of work.

  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support business and operational needs.

Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent


Experience:

  • 2 years of manufacturing operations production warehouse or related field required

  • Preferred experience: Previous work experience in a cGMP environment.


Knowledge Skills Abilities:

  • Competency in using computers Microsoft Office products and inventory management systems.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

  • Read and understand written materials including words pictures and numbers.

  • Accurate counting sorting calculating and measuring using tools like calculators and tape measures.

  • Ability to understand chemical safety including interpreting labels and Safety Data Sheets (SDS).

  • Operate Power Industrial Trucks (PITs) such as forklift order picks swing reach Bendi electric power jack box truck and similar equipment.

  • Maintain a valid drivers license.

Physical Requirements and Work Environment:

  • Adherence to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Safety Standards.

  • This is a fully on-site role.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment up to 12 hours a day with additional overtime as required.

  • Some degree of Personal Protective Equipment is required including safety-toed boots (ASTM F2413-24) high visibility gear safety glasses cleanroom suit hair/beard coverings gloves lab coat ear plugs etc.

  • Ability to stand and walk for full shift reach bend twist stoop push and grasp while performing tasks.

  • Ability to use hand tools and equipment including forceful gripping grasping pushing pulling and repetitive motion.

  • Able to lift 50 pounds without assistance.

  • Loud noises (Equipment/Machinery).

  • Working from heights.

  • Warehouse environment.

  • Ability to pass a non-CDL DOT physical required.
