Job Summary

Job Description:

We are seeking a dependable safety-focused Material Handler to support our manufacturing operations. This hands-on position is responsible for receiving unloading storing moving and issuing materials to support production while maintaining inventory accuracy. The ideal candidate is self-motivated detail-oriented and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Job Description

Receive inspect unload and store incoming raw materials including Less-Than-Truckload (LTL) shipments.

Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.

Perform receiving shipping and inventory transactions accurately within the ERP system.

Deliver materials to production areas as needed to support manufacturing schedules.

Maintain MRD cards and update due dates for received materials.

Follow First-In First-Out (FIFO) inventory management practices.

Process and manage Return Goods Authorizations (RGAs) and Non-Conforming Notices (NCNs).

Support third-party order processing including Bill of Lading (BOL) preparation purchase order entry part tracking receiving shipping freight coordination and supplier communication.

Communicate effectively with suppliers carriers and internal departments to resolve material and delivery issues.

Support continuous improvement initiatives utilizing MRD Kanban ARC and in-line replenishment principles.

Participate in cycle count activities to ensure inventory accuracy.

Assist with warehouse organization and maintain a clean safe work environment.

Utilize computers and handheld scanners to process inventory transactions and maintain accurate records.

Qualifications

Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.

Must have a forklift drivers license.

Minimum one year of material handling warehouse shipping/receiving or manufacturing experience preferred.

Experience with ERP systems (D365 preferred) Windows applications Microsoft Word Excel and Outlook preferred.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to inventory accuracy.

Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand walk bend and lift throughout the workday.

Ability to lift to 50 pounds without restriction

Approximately 2540% of the position requires computer and handheld scanner use.

Ability to work in a warehouse and manufacturing environment.
