Material Handler Pick and Pack

We are seeking dedicated Material Handlers with pick and pack experience to join our team and support efficient warehouse operations for HVAC parts distribution.

As a Material Handler - Pick and Pack you will be responsible for accurately packing small HVAC parts and service components for customer and dealer orders. Your duties include verifying order accuracy selecting packaging materials labeling sealing and staging shipments while maintaining quality and productivity standards in a warehouse environment.

• PAY RATE: 19.00 hour
• LOCATION: Romeoville IL 60446
• HOURS: 7:00am to 3:30pm M-F
• POSITIONS: 9 Positions Temp to Hire

Responsibilities

• Pick and pack small HVAC parts and service components accurately.
• Verify part numbers quantities and order accuracy using RF scanners or pick tickets.
• Select appropriate cartons dunnage and packaging materials.
• Label seal and stage packages for outbound shipping.
• Maintain productivity and quality performance standards.
• Report any damaged missing or incorrect items to leadership.
• Adhere to safety policies standard operating procedures and housekeeping guidelines.
• Keep packing stations clean and stocked.
• Assist with rework or peak-season volume projects.
• Collaborate with picking shipping inventory and quality teams.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum 1 year of warehouse experience.
• Pass a drug test including THC.
• Steel toe boots or shoes with ASTM f2413-18 rating (proof required) before start date.
• Puncture proof inserts for safety boots before start date.
• Complete a background check.
