Job Summary
We are looking for Material Handlers to join our team at Lakeside Book Company. As the largest bookmaker in the United States you will help move the finished product out the door and into the hands of readers across the country. No experience necessary! We will provide you with all the training you need to be successful. Advancement opportunities are available!Starting Rate:$17.00/hourHours: 12-hour Daylight shift 6am-6pm Monday-Tuesday Friday-Saturday-Sunday Wednesday-ThursdayLocation: 2347 Kratzer Rd; Harrisonburg VA 22802 and 1025 Willow Springs Rd; Harrisonburg VA 22801As our Material Handler you will:Feed book sections into a binding machineMove books from the production line and stack them into boxesWork in a team environment and cross-train with othersReceive training to help advance your careerQualifications:Ability to lift up to 50 poundsAbility to stand for the entire duration of your shiftAt Lakeside Book Company we value craftsmanship and collaboration by encouraging employees to improve their skills and capabilities.
