Material Handler
About the Role:
Were looking for a hands-on Material Handler to helpkeep our operations running smoothly. The Material Handler Technician performsvarious duties related to pulling stock order staging production andwarehouse material movement. The Material Handler communicates directly withproduction assembly operators to ensure sufficient and correct supplier partsare present for each production order.
What Youll Do:
- Day-to-day warehouse activities including receiving storing and shipping of materials
- Ensure material handling equipment is used safely and correctly
- Keep inventory organized and accurate using our tracking systems
- Assist in the replacement of defective parts to prevent production operator downtime.
Perform daily replenishment route checks offloor stock items prioritizing assembly cells when signaled by an operator.
- Step in to help with hands-on material handling when needed
What Were Looking For:
- High school diploma required
- 6 months of experience in a warehouse or distribution center
- Strong knowledge of material handling techniques and equipment (e.g. forklifts pallet jacks)
- Comfortable with inventory systems and basic computer use
- Reliable safety-focused and a strong team player
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. and stand for long periods
Bonus Points For:
- Forklift certification
- Experience with NetSuite SAP or equivalent ERP and warehouse management systems
- Bilingual (English/Spanish or other language helpful)
