Become a Key Player as a Material Handler

You will keep production and shipping moving by accurately handling inventory orders and shipments for the team. You will impact on-time delivery and inventory accuracy while working closely with supervisors team leads and planning. This role is onsite on a 1st shift schedule (7:00 AM 3:30 PM) working a standard 5x8 day cadence.

Heres How Youll Make an Impact on the Team
  • Open separate and sort shipments received from suppliers
  • Put parts away from Receiving and assign part locators as needed
  • Support and maintain inventory accuracy and update system transactions
  • Pick pack repackage and label customer orders for domestic and export shipments
  • Create and complete shipping paperwork including bills of lading and invoices
  • Operate material handling equipment (pallet jacks hand trucks) to transport parts
  • Pull build packages and ensure correct components and documentation are included
  • Order consumables (bags grease ribbon labels) as assigned
  • Identify product quality issues support root cause analysis and implement corrective actions
  • Keep work area organized using 5S and safety best practices and follow OSHA regulations
Heres What Youll Need to Be Successful in This Role
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to regularly lift up to 25 lbs. intermittently lift up to 40 lbs. and team lift or use equipment for loads up to 75 lbs.
  • Ability to stand for the full shift and perform repetitive movements (bending kneeling climbing squatting)
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with others and be a participative team player
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • General computer skills for label printing and inventory transactions
  • Daily attendance and reliability
Pay Range

$15.81 - $19.76/hour
