Material Handler - 3rd Shift

Job Description Summary

Comply with all company departmental and safety policies and procedures.

Job Description:

• Unpacks material from pallets and places in smaller flow racks ensuring FIFO process is followed.
• Decant and / or prepare material as required for each production line.
• Stocks the production lines using the proper equipment such as a tugger or walk behind. Must deliver the right number of parts to the line at the right time.
• Removes trash from the materials area and production lines. Loads cardboard and plastic into the compactors.
• Assists with inventory control functions of the on-site and off-site warehouses including cycle counts and physical inventories.
• Maintains lot traceability as required.
• Supports training as required.

Required Skills and Education

ReplEssential:

• High School Diploma required
• Must be able to lift 35 lbs.
• Two to five years experience in warehouse operations and forklift experience

Desirable:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Excellent organizational skills with ability to handle multiple tasks
• Detail conscious
• Good computer skillsacement
