Job Description
The Stockroom Lead ensures that stock keeping tasks are executed per all operating instructions and compliance requirements. Including but not limited to; safe and efficient material flow tactical direction technical support and daily resource allocation for team workload prioritization and quality checks.
Demonstrates leadership of stockroom(s) activities
Identify and help implement process improvements
Interacts heavily with manufacturing value streams
Assigns resources to complete daily work and shows willingness to perform same work
Ensures resources are performing assigned tasks and following work instructions
Performs Champion role including Safety and 5S Champion for Stockroom Team
Subject matter Expert for Oracle stock system transactions
Train co-workers on stockroom transactions
Perform internal compliance audits
Conduct research and assign root cause of errors providing feedback to manager
Perform inventory adjustments and system transactions that have financial impact per work instructions
Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities
Required Education Experience & Skills
HS diploma or GED
Experience with stockroom material handling or inventory
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
Leadership skills with the ability to manage conflict and participate in team activities.
Computer skills to carry out data entry in Oracle & Microsoft Office
Ability and willingness to recommend and lead process improvements
Preferred Education Experience & Skills
Ability to work in a manufacturing/warehousing environment
Ability to operate hand jack and lift up to 50 lbs frequently
Ability to obtain forklift license and operate forklift on a regular basis
Ability to work overtime as required
Possess adequate hand/ eye coordination and visual acuity to perform required tasks
Ability to read and fully comprehend written instructions in English.
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $44033 - $70454
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including but not limited to: business considerations local market conditions and internal equity as well as candidate qualifications such as skills education and experience.
