Material Handler 1st shift

• Receive and process warehouse stock products (pick unload label store).
• Understand and identify all components that comprise the finished product as described in the SDI handbook.
• Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high for audits.
• Complete diary logs into inventory and report any discrepancies to supervisor.
• Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers and internal customers to ensure efficient movement of materials to required areas.
• Operate and preventively maintain warehouse vehicles and equipment.
• Physically counts inventory using manual or automatic methods (scales and scanners).
• Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Leadership Team to support company goals.
• Participation in Mesker Safety Program.
• Based on proficiency it may be required to train in Material Handling duties.

• Operate simple hand or power tools.
• Handle materials such as metal etc.
• Must be able to lift to 75 pounds repetitively.
• Must be able to push and/or pull carts up to 75 pounds.
• Must use and be able to work with required PPE.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
• Must be able to perform repetitive tasks such as twisting pushing pulling and reaching.
• The noise level of the warehouse is moderate to loud.
• Based on proficiency could work under heavy to limited supervision.
• Uphold all safety standards applicable to the responsibilities above.
• Must be able to work in a non-temperature-controlled environment.

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Must be able to sit for long periods while operating a lift truck as well as climb into and out of the seating area of the lift truck.

• Must be able to understand and follow both verbal and written instructions and standard work tickets.
• Must possess basic computer skills basic math skills required proven measurement and mathematical fraction/decimal conversion skills.
• Must be able to work independently as well as in a group environment.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Must demonstrate basic problem-solving skills.
• Good organizational skills related to managing paperwork and time.
