Position:Full-Time Special Education Teacher for our summer school
Dates of Summer School: 07/08/2026-08/21/2026 (Orientation 07/08/26-07/09/26)

Position Overview:As aSpecial Education Teacherfor our Summer School Programs youll lead and guide a classroom of eager students working alongside a dedicated team of professionals. Youll collaborate with parents school districts and other agencies to ensure students receive the highest level of support to meet their unique needs.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the Classroom:Take charge of your classroom and provide direction to a team of professionals and paraprofessionals.
- Supervise & Support:Oversee the work of classroom education staff ensuring students receive the best possible support.
- Collaboration is Key:Work closely with parents school districts and other agencies to ensure student needs are met with care and excellence.
- Inspire and Motivate:Foster an environment of creativity energy and growth for both students and staff.
Minimum Qualifications:
- NYS Certification in Special Education(Initial Certification required)
- Bachelors Degree in Special Educationand currently pursuing a Masters in Special Education
- Must be at least18 years old
- Ability tolift 50 pounds independently
Preferred Qualifications:
- New York State Permanent Certificationin Special Education
- Masters Degreein Special Education
- 2 years of experiencewith students with multiple disabilities
- Creative energetic and passionate about making a difference
