Job Summary

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update the Master Production Schedule (MPS) under guidance.
  • Support multi-site master planning activities ensuring alignment of schedules materials and priorities across location.
  • Analyze demand forecasts and customer orders to support planning decisions.
  • Monitor schedule adherence and escalate risks or gaps.
  • Coordinate with production and procurement to ensure material availability.
  • Track and report KPIs (on-time delivery inventory levels etc.).
  • Support S&OP/S&OE processes through data preparation and analysis.
  • Assist with inventory management including safety stock and excess reduction.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Promote collaboration alignment and problem-solving by identifying priorities flagging obstacles and impacts supporting countermeasures and following up on progress.

Qualifications (Education & Work Experience):

  • Minimum of 10 years experience in manufacturing/supply planning or 4-year degree in Supply Chain management or related field with 2 years of planning experience.
  • Experience using production planning methods and workflows.
  • Exposure to master production scheduling and level loading concepts.
  • Experience supporting inventory control methods and reporting metrics.
  • Ability to perform basic what-if analysis.
  • Ability to review multiple data points to draw conclusions and support decisions.
  • Working knowledge of ERP/MRP/S&OP/S&OE systems and planning processes.
  • Strong mathematical aptitude and spreadsheet skills.
  • Strong sense of urgency responsiveness and self-motivation.
  • Ability to think logically and communicate clearly.
  • Effective interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA FMLA and other federal state and local standards including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
  • Ability to maintain regular punctual attendance consistent with the ADA FMLA and other federal state and local standards.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 15 lbs.
  • Must be able to talk listen and speak clearly on the telephone.
