Master Scheduler I or II

LEVEL I

• Estimated annual base pay: $62000(minimum) - $80000(midpoint) - $99000(maximum)

LEVEL II

• Estimated annual base pay: $72000(minimum) - $93000(midpoint) - $115000(maximum)

LEVEL I:

Key Responsibilities:

• Schedule Development: Develop and maintain detailed production schedules to meet operational requirements
• Coordination with Teams: Collaborate with cross functional teams to gather necessary information for accurate scheduling.
• Monitoring and Updating Schedules: Regularly monitor manufacturing adherence to plan and update schedules to reflect any changes or delays.
• Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze scheduling data and prepare reports to assist management in decision making processes.
• Resource Allocation Support: Assist in the allocation of resources to optimize productivity and meet production schedules.

Key Skills:

• Production Planning: Develops and maintains production schedules to ensure timely manufacturing and delivery of products.
• Demand Management: Aligns and recommends master production schedules that align with the supply plan
• Resource Allocation: Efficiently assigns resources including labor and materials to optimize production processes.
• Inventory Management: Monitors inventory levels and coordinates with manufacturing to ensure a schedule that optimizes stock levels and shop floor execution.
• Data Analysis: Utilizes data analysis tools to interpret scheduling data and identify areas for improvement.
• Software Proficiency: Demonstrates expertise in Epicor scheduling software and enterprise resource planning
• Problem Solving: Identifies scheduling conflicts and implements effective solutions to minimize disruptions.
• Communication Skills: Collaborates with cross functional teams to ensure alignment and clear understanding of schedules.
• Attention to Detail: Maintains accuracy in scheduling documentation and monitoring to prevent errors.
• Time Management: Prioritizes tasks effectively to meet deadlines and maintain smooth production workflows.

Successful candidates typically have:

• Prior experience and proficient with Epicor ERP Software
• Proficiency in implementing and maintaining SIOP processes

LEVEL II:

Key Responsibilities:

• Production Planning: Develop and maintain comprehensive master production schedules to ensure timely availability of products in alignment with demand forecasts.
• Cross Department Coordination: Collaborate with procurement manufacturing and sales teams to synchronize production activities and address any scheduling conflicts or resource constraints.
• Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels adjust production plans as necessary and implement strategies to optimize stock levels minimizing both shortages and excess inventory.
• Schedule Optimization: Analyze production data and workflows to identify opportunities for improving efficiency reducing lead times and enhancing overall schedule reliability.
• Reporting and Communication: Prepare and distribute detailed scheduling reports to stakeholders and communicate any changes or potential delays effectively to ensure all parties are informed and aligned.
