Utilizes technical skills and knowledge to train and develop mechanics. Assists Leads with daily operation of functional area while working under minimal DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Reads and interprets manufacturer and airline maintenance manuals service bulletins drawings engineering orders and other specifications to determine feasibility and method of repair replacement or and co-signs for uncertified mechanics in accordance with the ATS RSM procedures as modify replace or otherwise performs routine maintenance. Uses technical data to order parts and ensures material is effective for component being installed information to submit to Engineering as unsafe conditions and takes immediate corrective assist Leads with planning production and quality control of assigned labor hour requirements as opportunities to develop DER effectively with other maintenance personnel at all levels by keeping co-workers and leadership apprised of work progress and difficulties as they On-the-Job Training (OJT) to provide learning opportunities through work assignment and changes to processes to improve efficiencies and with and may communicate and provide guidance to team members on ATS policies procedures and Safety Management System (SMS) requirements. Promotes Balanced Technician and develops mechanics assigned to their functional assist in regular feedback and performance coaching including appropriate management of time prioritizing tasks and ensuring proper knowledge and training to accomplish assignments within for accurate timekeeping including clocking into be responsible for accuracy of clocking into jobs for assigned to company training and predictable and appropriate conduct with AND EXPERIENCE: High School diploma or equivalentMinimum of three (3) years recent component maintenance commercial aircraft maintenance and/or MRO experience or Airframe and Powerplant license preferredPHYSICAL EFFORT AND DEXTERITY: While performing the duties of this job the employee will be required to sit stand and walk; use their hands and arms; and talk or hear; and focus on objects close up. The employee may be required to stoop kneel crouch or crawl. The employee may also be required to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds using proper lifting full base pay range for this position is $31.00 - $44.00 hourly not including bonuses or benefits. Your pay will be based on your experience skills and education as well as internal equity to ensure fairness across the team. Candidates closer to the lower end of the range are typically building their expertise while those at the higher end bring significant experience and specialized knowledge.
