Job Summary
AMasterEsthetician is a professionalwho is licensedto provide skin treatments and custom skincare recommendations for specific skin conditions. Their duties includespa facialsspecific peel protocols by skin care line microdermabrasion LED dermaplaning browlaminationand hair removal.
Responsibilities
Perform skincare services such as wraps andfacials
Performfacialtreatmentsincludingcleansingexfoliatingandmoisturizing
Welcome clients and explain the list of services and productsoffered
Conductbodywaxingserviceswithprecisionandcare
Train new hires on the companys services and products to ensure every employee upholds the quality levelsexpected
Attend continuing education programs and regular staff meetings to keep skills updated with the newest methods andtechnologies
Selladditionalproducts and services in a simple but professional manner to enable clients tomaintaintheir skincare routine athome
Explain how the service will affect the clients skin and offer advice on which service is best forthem
Knowledgeofeyelashandeyebrowtinting
Sanitizeequipmentandtreatmentareastomaintaincleanlinessandsafetystandards
Additional tasks as needed.
Qualifications
FluentandproficientinMasterEstheticswork.
Engageinupsellingproductsoradditionalservicestoenhancetheclientexperience
Communicateeffectivelywithclientstounderstandtheirneedsandpreferences
Offerguestserviceswithahospitableandwelcomingdemeanor
Must hold license from Virginia State Board of Cosmetology.
Ability to uphold anddemonstratethe highest level of integrity in all situations and recognize standards required by a regulated business.
Wage: This position is Commission Only
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Be mobile in all Spa areas.
Work is performed in areas which may be unusually dimly lit or brightly illuminated or on slippery surfaces.
Mayencountersolvents/oils fumes/odors and dirt/dust.
Use of electrical devices and computer equipment.
Constant contact with staffguests/visitors.
Due to the nature of the hospitality industry team members maybe requiredtoworkvarying schedulesweekends and holidays to reflect the needs of the facility.
Multipletasksto behandledundertimeconstraint.
Mustbeabletohandleaheavybusinessvolumeandsensitivesituationsrelatingtostaffandguestproblemsinatimelymanner.
