Master Electrician Job Description:
Skillforce is currently seeking a Licensed Master Electrician for an ongoing commercial construction project in Louisville KY. This is a long-term opportunity for a highly skilled professional who can oversee electrical work ensure code compliance and lead crews effectively on a fast-paced job site.
Master Electrician Job Scope:
- Oversee and perform installation maintenance and repair of commercial electrical systems
- Read and interpret blueprints schematics and electrical drawings
- Run conduit (EMT rigid) pull wire and terminate devices
- Install panels switchgear and lighting systems
- Ensure all work is completed in compliance with NEC codes and job site standards
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical issues
- Supervise and support journeyman and apprentice electricians
- Coordinate with project managers inspectors and other trades
Master Electrician Requirements:
- Active Master Electrician license (state of Kentucky)
- Strong background in commercial electrical construction
- Proven leadership experience on job sites
- In-depth knowledge of NEC codes and safety standards
- Ability to work independently and manage crews effectively
- Must have reliable transportation and necessary tools
- Ability to work overtime as needed
