Job Summary

Koniag Operations Services LLC a Koniag Government Services company is seeking a Master Electrician with a TS/SCI Security clearance to support KOS and our government customer in Arlington VA. This position is for a Future New Business Opportunity. The ideal candidate is a highly skilled electrical professional with extensive expertise in electrical systems codes and regulations and a proven track record of leading electrical projects and teams to successful completion. The Master Electrician will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of electrical installations maintenance and repair operations across assigned facilities. This role requires a seasoned electrical professional capable of managing teams of electricians ensuring strict compliance with safety standards and leading electrical projects from conception to completion in accordance with industry federal and Department of State (DOS) regulations. Principal responsibilities will include but are not limited to:Oversee and manage all electrical installations maintenance and repair activities across assigned facilities ensuring work is completed to the highest supervise and mentor a team of electricians assigning tasks monitoring performance and providing technical guidance and coordinate and manage electrical projects from conception through completion ensuring work is delivered on time within scope and in compliance with all applicable codes and all electrical work is performed in strict compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) local codes federal regulations and DOS standards and regular inspections of electrical systems and installations to identify deficiencies assess safety risks and implement corrective actions as and diagnose complex electrical system failures and malfunctions implementing effective and timely solutions to minimize operational and interpret electrical blueprints schematics diagrams and technical specifications to guide installation and repair with facilities management project managers and other trades to ensure seamless integration of electrical work within broader facility operations and all electrical work permits are obtained and maintained in accordance with applicable local state and federal accurate records of all electrical work performed including inspection reports maintenance logs project documentation and compliance and implement preventive maintenance programs for electrical systems and equipment to ensure long-term reliability and inventory of electrical supplies tools and equipment ensuring adequate stock levels and proper maintenance of tools and all team members adhere to safety protocols and OSHA regulations conducting regular safety briefings and training as to emergency electrical issues and after-hours calls as required to ensure the safety and continuity of facility with DOS leadership and other stakeholders to provide technical expertise and recommendations on electrical systems and and Experience:Required:High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).Valid Master Electrician License issued by the appropriate state or local licensing authority.5 years of experience as a licensed electrician with demonstrated experience in a Master Electrician or senior leadership experience in electrical installations maintenance and repair across commercial industrial or government facility Requirement:Ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI Security Skills and Competencies:Comprehensive knowledge of electrical systems components and equipment including high and low voltage systems power distribution lighting and control -depth knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) local electrical codes OSHA regulations and federal and DOS electrical standards and leadership and team management skills with the ability to supervise mentor and motivate a team of ability to plan manage and execute electrical projects from conception to completion on time and within in reading and interpreting electrical blueprints schematics diagrams and technical troubleshooting and diagnostic skills with the ability to identify and resolve complex electrical system failures effectively and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities projects and assignments communication skills in English both written and oral with the ability to interact professionally with staff management and government to prepare and maintain accurate documentation including inspection reports maintenance logs and project to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret Skills and Competencies:Associates degree or higher in Electrical Technology Electrical Engineering or a related working in a federal government facilities management or O&M contracting with Department of State (DOS) facilities operations standards and with building automation systems (BAS) and energy management systems (EMS).Knowledge of renewable energy systems including solar and backup power generation with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) such as IBM Maximo for tracking work orders and maintenance 30-Hour Construction or General Industry managing electrical budgets including tracking expenditures and identifying cost-saving of low-voltage systems including fire alarm security and communications with green building standards and energy-efficient electrical practices such as LEED certification Equal Employment Opportunity PolicyThe company is an equal opportunity employer.
