Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Saturday 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM


Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Master Automotive Technician to join our growing automotive service team. This role will serve as a technical leader within the shop handling advanced mechanical drivability and electrical diagnostics while ensuring exceptional repair quality and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate is a strong problem solver with extensive hands-on experience across domestic Asian and European vehicles.


Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair complex drivability powertrain suspension and advanced electrical system issues independently.
  • Perform comprehensive digital vehicle inspections and advanced diagnostic testing to identify root causes accurately.
  • Review and interpret repair orders while collaborating closely with Service Advisors to ensure clear and accurate customer communication.
  • Estimate labor hours required parts and specialty equipment needed for repairs.
  • Complete minor and major repairs on engines transmissions braking systems steering suspension and electrical components.
  • Install replacement parts and components according to manufacturer specifications and safety standards.
  • Document diagnostic procedures repair details and recommendations within the shop management system.
  • Utilize Identifix OEM scan tools and modern diagnostic software to streamline troubleshooting and repairs.
  • Conduct road tests to validate repair quality vehicle performance and safety standards.
  • Mentor and support junior technicians to improve overall shop productivity and technical expertise.
  • Maintain professional tools shop equipment lifts and work areas in a clean and safe condition.
  • Follow OSHA guidelines and environmental safety regulations related to hazardous materials and shop operations.

Required Qualifications
  • 5-10 years of hands-on automotive technician experience (3-4 years of strong diagnostic experience may also be considered)
  • ASE Master Certification (A1-A8) preferred
  • Proven experience working on Domestic Asian and European/German vehicles
  • Advanced electrical and diagnostic troubleshooting skills (8/10 proficiency expected)
  • Experience using Identifix or equivalent automotive diagnostic platforms
  • Strong understanding of vehicle systems repair procedures and manufacturer standards
  • Valid Drivers License with a clean driving record
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced team-oriented environment
