Job Summary

Overview

The Commercial Masonry Operator is responsible for safely operating equipment and supporting masonry crews on commercial construction projects. This role works closely with foremen masons and laborers to help ensure projects are completed safely efficiently and to quality standards.

What Youll Do
  • Operate equipment such as forklifts skid steers mixers saws and other masonry-related tools safely and efficiently.
  • Load unload stage and transport masonry materials throughout the jobsite.
  • Assist with the installation of brick block stone and other masonry materials.
  • Read and interpret project plans layout lines and grade markings as needed.
  • Perform routine equipment inspections and basic maintenance.
  • Maintain a clean organized and safe work environment.
  • Follow company safety policies OSHA standards and jobsite procedures.
  • Collaborate with foremen masons and other trades to support project productivity.
  • Report equipment concerns safety hazards and quality issues promptly.

What Were Looking For
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Two or moreyears of commercial masonry or construction experience.
  • Experience operating construction equipment commonly used in masonry work.
  • Strong understanding of jobsite safety practices and equipment operation.
  • Knowledge of masonry materials tools and construction methods preferred.
  • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification preferred.
  • Reliable attendance strong work ethic and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Ability to meet physical job requirements including: Lifting up to 75 pounds standing walking bending kneeling and climbing for extended periods working at heights and outdoors in varying weather conditions
