West Paw is a 30-year-old Bozeman business known for its planet and people-friendly dog toys and treats. As a Certified B Corp for 13 years West Paw has long set a high bar for making the best for dogs. Our 36000-square-foot Bozeman operation houses every role from sales and marketing to product development production shipping IT and finance. Position Overview

We have an exciting opportunity this summer (and preferably continuing into the fall) for a talented multifaceted Marketing Intern. Working a total of 8-10 hours per week partly at our Bozeman Montana offices and partly off-site we are ideally looking for a junior senior or masters degree student with a background in social media graphic design video and content creation particularly TikTok-style videos/posts. We envision the role partly as a marketer partly as a graphic designer working alongside the Revenue team on activities and projects encompassing social media digital brand presence product launches promotions and other Marketing efforts directly tied to revenue generation.

This role requires someone who can easily pivot from one priority to another as needed but can also work independently ensuring standard tasks are completed on a consistent cadence. You will be working with both internal West Paw team members and coordinating with external sales and marketing partners to ensure your work aligns with our overall efforts.

Essential Responsibilities

• Social Media Content Creation - Ideating collaborating and creating fun engaging and brand relevant content for our social media channels (TikTok Instagram Facebook) our website including blog-style posts and our retailer e-learning academy.
• Digital Community Engagement and Outreach Daily responses to social media comments and messages on all platforms as well as connecting with dog influencers in pursuit of content and potential partnerships.
• Graphic and Digital Design - Collaborate with the Revenue team and external Marketing resources to design/update/maintain digital assets and graphics/artwork using Adobe products.
• Product Marketing - Assist with management of product pages for optimal front-end and back-end presentation/management in Shopify and on our external website.
• E-mail Campaigns - Assist with e-mail marketing campaigns including copywriting scheduling and post-campaign analytics.
• Analytics and Analysis - Align social media and e-mail marketing efforts with overall Marketing Strategy product launches and mini-campaign themes. Analyze social media metrics to make recommendations for next actions/strategy modifications.

Work Location: Mixture of on-site at our Bozeman Montana headquarters and remotely.

Hours:8-10 hours per week will work around class schedules in the fall!
Pay: $19/hour
