The Boeing CompanyBoeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking an Experienced or Senior Marketing Economics Specialist to join the Airline Financial & Economic Analysis (AFEA) team in Renton Washington.
The ideal candidate will serve as an analyst in support of Commercial Airplanes Sales & Marketing initiatives by analyzing and quantifying the economic and financial aspects of Boeing products and services relative to customers needs and competitive offerings. Specifically the role requires expertise in aircraft operating and introductory costs maintenance costs flight crew cost modeling value analysis and proficiency in the areas of financial analysis.
Position Responsibilities:
Develop creative persuasive presentations and value analyses that create a preference for Boeing products in support of sales campaigns
Confidently present comprehensive airplane economic value stories to customers industry forums Boeing executive management and trade associations
Develop feasibility studies that demonstrate the financial benefits of Boeing airplanes in an airlines system and assist airlines in optimizing fleet plans
Continually seek new innovative ways to present Boeing products favorably in the market to a variety of audiences including airlines lessors maintenance repair and overhaul (MROs) media and the financial community
Create and maintain economic and financial methods and models that support the business function
Serve as a resource within Boeing capable and proficient in the areas of financial analysis including airplane ownership costs cash flow net present value internal rate of return knowledge of industry financial health hard currency analysis and lease vs. buy analysis
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite in Renton Washington.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):
5 years of experience conducting technical analyses of products financial modeling or economic evaluations
3 years of experience in commercial aviation industry
2 years of experience preparing and presenting to executives senior leadership or external customers
Able to travel up to 25% of the time both domestically and internationally
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Level 4: 7 years of experience conducting technical analyses of products financial modeling or economic evaluations
Experience analyzing airline market or financial data
Familiarization with both Boeing and competitor products & services
Prior commercial aviation industry experience including airline or lessor
Experience with customer-facing roles

Summary pay range:
Experience (Level 3): $107100 - $140000
Senior (Level 4): $138550 - $180000
