Job Summary
NeighborWorks Boise (NWB) is a local affordable housing nonprofit thathelps Idahoans obtain maintain and retain housing. We are seeking a dynamicand detail-oriented Marketing Coordinator to enhance our visibility outreachand volunteer engagement. Primary Duties andResponsibilities
The Marketing Coordinator supports NWBs digital content creationcommunity events volunteer coordination and fundraising to the Director of Marketing and Community Engagement this rolehelps drive our mission through creative communications and hands-on communityinvolvement. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
DigitalCommunications and Content Creation:
- Create engaging content for NWBs social media (Facebook InstagramLinkedIn)
- Capture and share stories photos and testimonials for digitalstorytelling
- Design digital and print materials (flyers banners etc.)
- Assist with website updates and monitor online engagement
Community Engagementand Volunteer Coordination:
- Represent NWB at community events and support outreach efforts
- Coordinate Paint The Town and Rake Up Boise event volunteerstimelines and logistics
- Recruit train and support volunteers across NWB programs and events
- Assist the Resident Services team with resident-focused activities andvolunteer needs
Fundraising Support:
- Assist with sponsor outreach and logistics for major events
- Support fundraising campaigns (e.g. Idaho Gives and Avenues for Hope)
- Help with donor communications and recognition efforts
Administrative Support:
- Maintain records of volunteer hours eventattendance and other relevant data using spreadsheets and CRM tools
- Organize and manage documentation such aswaivers and media releases

Knowledge Skillsand Abilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication and strongrelationship-building skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Word Excel and Canva; knowledge of Adobe toolsis a plus
- Experience with social media platforms and basic digital marketing
- Comfortable using website tools like WordPress
- Basic photography and graphic design abilities
- Highly organized detail-oriented and able to manage multiple projects
- Positive proactive and dependable team player with string interpersonalskills
- Maintains professionalism confidentiality and a strong ethical workstandard
Education andExperience
- Bachelors degree in marketing communications or related field (orequivalent experience)
- 1 year experience in marketing communications or event coordination
- Knowledge of digital marketing and volunteer management preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Compensation: $21 - $23 or DOE
