What Will You Do

Develop & document new tooling and processes that promote safe working practices and meet businessrequirements.
Create/Update BoMs Engineering Drawings Work Instructions & other engineering-related documentation asrequired.
Re-Engineer existing processes using Lean principles to eliminate waste and reduce lead times.
Use data to resolve complicated process problems systematically via root cause analysis and theimplementation of effective solutions.
Assist in the implementation of capital investment and continuous improvement projects that provide customervalue.
Participate in cross functional groups to implement new products and processes.

Your Physical Work Environment Will Require

Your Experience Should Be...

Minimum Requirements:

BS in Mechanical Industrial Chemical or Manufacturing Engineering.
3 years of experience engineering the machining & assembly of mechanical products in a manufacturingenvironment.
A strong mechanical aptitude. A hands-on person with a passion for process improvement.
Working knowledge of 3D modeling software required
Experience working with ERP software; I.e. setting up Bills of Material and Routes/Methods.
The candidate should possess strong organizational and communication skills.
A positive Safety First attitude with the ability to interact effectively and partner with people at all levels;extremely skilled at developing and working with and through teams; a collaborative hands-on team player resultsdriven and motivated

Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of problem-solving methodologies; Lean/Six-Sigma certification preferred.
SolidWorks proficiency.
Proficient with various inspection techniques (automated & manual) tooling and methodologies.
5 years of experience in the manufacturing & assembly of mechanical products.
The ideal candidate will have considerable experience in the optimization of machining & assembly processes.
