Manufacturing Technician III, Welding

Job Summary:

Entegris is currentlyseekinga talented and motivatedWelderto join its Gas Operations production team in Danbury CT. This person would work independently on productcomponentfabrication using weld equipment in a glovebox environment.Additionalresponsibilities includetestand inspection of various components needed for multiple product lines as well as other tasks as directed.The person in this role would takedirectionfrom a teamleadand report directly to the ProductionSupervisor. Danbury Specialty Gas Operations is a dynamic andfast pacedenvironment where safety is paramount. This candidate would be someone who enjoys being part ofa strong team is dedicated to continuous improvement and has some experience safely working with hazardous materials or processes whilemaintaininga focus on meeting and exceeding production goals.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Support development of in-house weldprocessfor product components in a glovebox environment.

• Support production demands of welded components including manufacture data tracking quality checks packaging and shipping to third party vendors.

• Support test and inspection requirements for various assembly parts as needed.

• Safelyoperateand maintain weld and test equipment proficiently.

• FollowEntegrisqualified welding programs work instructions and engineering drawings.

Required Skills/Abilities/Competencies:

• Mechanically inclined

• Ability to work with hand toolspowertoolsand fixtures in a glovebox environment.

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Excellenttime management skills.

• Experience with SAP Microsoft office.

• Ability to function well in a high-pacedand at timesstressful environment.

Education and Experience:

• Formal Education:High SchoolDipolmaor GED

• Certifications:N/A: Certification will beacquiredonsite

• Years of Experience/Type of Experience/Industry:

• 3years as a manufacturing tech or experiencein a manufacturing environment where youhadtoprocess and complete work orders pera productionschedule.

• Experience in orbital welding preferred.

• Experience withgrinders band saws facingmachinesand tube cutters.

Physical Requirements/Work Environment:

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a deskand/or standing at awork station

• Must be able tolift upto 50 pounds at times.

Compensation: $26.50- $29.00 per hour with actual pay dependent on candidate overall skills for the role
