Were seeking a Forge Supervisor to lead our Drop Forge and Screw Press operations overseeing a talented team responsible for producing high-quality forged components. What Youll Do
- Lead daily operations across drop forge screw press saw grinding and inspection areas
- Plan and coordinate production to meet output targets and delivery schedules
- Supervise coach and develop a high-performing hourly team
- Monitor production performance and report daily metrics
- Ensure all forging processes meet strict quality and process standards
- Inspect dies presses and work-in-process; identify issues and drive corrective actions
- Support and manage tooling dies and forging parameters
- Train and onboard new employees in forging operations
- Set work schedules and optimize productivity
- Participate in technical reviews of forging processes and improvements
- Enforce safety policies and regulatory compliance at all times
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using lean principles
- Support special projects and operational improvements
Preferred Experience
- Hands-on experience within heavy industrial setting
- Prior supervision experience within a manufacturing environment
What You Bring
- Bachelors degree preferred
OR High School Diploma 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment - Knowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement is a plus
- Strong communication organizational and problem-solving skills
- Six Sigma knowledge is a plus
