Maintain appropriate staffing levels and assign work to meet daily manufacturing goals.
Foster a positive work environment through employee coaching development and consistent application of company policies.
Promote a culture of safety by enforcing health environmental housekeeping and safety standards.
Monitor production performance investigate material variances and recommend process improvements.
Support continuous improvement initiatives by encouraging employee involvement in process procedure and equipment enhancements.
Coordinate maintenance activities to ensure equipment reliability and operational efficiency.
Prepare production reports and track key performance indicators as required.
Support plant operations through overtime and additional duties as needed.

Train production employees to perform work assignments safely and effectively.
Coach team members and maintain strong employee relations through consistent leadership practices.
Facilitate team meetings and support employee engagement initiatives when applicable.
Review employee performance and provide feedback aligned with plant objectives.
Administer wage and salary policies for production personnel.
Ensure compliance with safety environmental and operational procedures.
Arrange equipment maintenance and oversee inspections when required.
Monitor labor and material usage to support cost and productivity goals.
Audit and maintain Standard Work Practices to ensure operational effectiveness.
Investigate production issues analyze root causes and implement corrective actions.
Administer union agreements and disciplinary procedures when applicable.

Ability to work any assigned shift and required overtime.
Strong leadership communication and team-building skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Knowledge of safety quality and production processes.

Bachelors Degree in Engineering Business Operations or a related field.
Previous supervisory or management experience in a manufacturing environment.
Experience leading employee teams and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Knowledge of labor relations union environments and manufacturing best practices.
Experience analyzing production metrics and implementing operational improvements.
