Job Summary

Position Description:

CGI Federal is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Scheduler to support the NASA CPSS contract at the Marshall Space Flight Center. This role provides expert scheduling support for the Manufacturing Shop ensuring production activities are accurately planned resourced integrated and executed. This role develops and manages complex resource loaded schedules across fabrication assembly integration and test operations supporting NASA program goals and cross center manufacturing activities.

This position is located in Huntsville AL.
Due to contractual requirements this role requires onsite support.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

. Develop maintain and optimize integrated production schedules across manufacturing work centers.
. Build and manage resource loaded schedules incorporating labor equipment materials and production constraints.
. Apply critical path methodology schedule network logic and schedule health assessments to ensure reliability of plans.
. Coordinate inputs from engineering procurement quality production control and shop floor leadership.
. Conduct what if analyses identify risks evaluate schedule impacts and recommend recovery or optimization strategies.
. Support Earned Value Management (EVM) integration including schedule variance analysis and performance metrics.
. Provide regular schedule status reporting to management NASA stakeholders and cross functional teams.
. Collaborate with NASA centers government partners vendors and academic institutions supporting manufacturing R&D.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

.Education: BS/BA
.Experience: 10 years of applicable work experience
. Extensive experience developing and managing schedules for medium and large scale manufacturing programs.
. Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Project or Primavera P6; experience with integrated toolsets and resource data synchronization.
. Strong understanding of manufacturing workflows shop floor operations capacity planning tooling/equipment scheduling and MES/production control systems.
. Experience conducting schedule risk assessments with tools such as Primavera Risk Analysis or at Risk.
. Knowledge of EIA 748 EVM principles and ability to integrate schedule and cost performance.
. Ability to assess schedule health logic density relationship quality resource loading and critical path stability.
. Strong communication skills with ability to lead discussions present findings and support cross functional collaboration.
Desired qualifications/non-essential skills required:
. Experience supporting NASA or other government manufacturing environments.
. Knowledge of Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) coordination and supply chain integration.
. Experience working directly with shop floor supervisors and production planning teams.

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set level experience relevant training and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $79600.00 - $156700.00.
