Job Summary
The Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing production operations and leading production employees to meet operational goals while maintaining high standards for quality safety and efficiency.
This role coordinates manufacturing and warehouse activities within a fast-paced food production environment ensuring efficient operations and the timely delivery of quality products.
- Day Shift: SundayThursday 5:30 AM2:00 PM
- Night Shift: MondayFriday 9:30 PM6:00 AM

- Plan lead and direct daily operations for the assigned shift.
- Provide direction coaching and feedback to employees.
- Build effective teams and establish clear accountability.
- Foster a work environment centered on trust teamwork quality and safety.
- Ensure production meets quality standards and applicable federal and state regulations.
- Maintain compliance with applicable regulatory and safety requirements including OSHA EPA FDA USDA HACCP and related standards.
- Oversee all production processes and activities for the assigned shift.
- Coordinate ordering processing packaging and shipping of products and materials.
- Schedule production crews materials and supplies as needed.
- Plan delegate and monitor work assignments and special projects.
- Manage labor waste and efficiency to meet financial and operational targets.
- Apply Lean Manufacturing principles and available technology to improve efficiency and productivity.
- Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities.
- Oversee sanitation activities and ensure appropriate standards are maintained.
- Complete and maintain electronic documentation and production records.
- Identify and resolve operational challenges to maintain smooth production flow.
- Ensure adherence to established safety quality and production procedures.

- 2 years of leadership experience in a food manufacturing or mass-production environment.
- 1 year of experience working with Lean Manufacturing principles.
- Proven understanding of production operations and manufacturing requirements.
- Experience directing and managing a diverse unionized workforce.
- Demonstrated ability to manage coach and develop employees.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven time management and organizational skills.
- Ability and willingness to work varying shifts as needed.
- Willingness to work overtime including holidays as required.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Word Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to quickly learn and utilize additional business-related software and technology.
- Must be eligible to work for an indeterminate period of time without employment limitations.
- Must be flexible and available to work assigned shifts based on business needs.
