Manufacturing Production Control Support

Renesas Electronics is looking for a Production Control Support Specialist to provide critical on-site support to wafer fabrication manufacturing operations ensuring efficient material flow inventory control and production readiness. This role partners cross-functionally with manufacturing planning and supply chain teams to maintain operational continuity and drive process improvements within a dynamic fab environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide real-time on-site support for daily wafer fabrication manufacturing activities to ensure uninterrupted production flow
• Manage and maintain starting materials inventory including tracking stocking and ensuring availability to meet production schedules
• Support production planning activities by coordinating material readiness and assisting with schedule execution
• Interface with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure timely delivery and issue resolution
• Create and manage purchase requisitions in support of production and inventory needs
• Maintain and update manufacturing systems databases and tracking tools to ensure data accuracy and visibility
• Support fab hygiene and cleanliness standards in compliance with cleanroom protocols
• Identify recommend and help implement process improvements to enhance efficiency reduce waste and optimize material flow
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Engineering Manufacturing Supply Chain and Quality

Qualifications :

• Associate degree (2-year) or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams
• Self-motivated and detail-oriented team player capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite particularly Excel Outlook and Access (data tracking reporting and analysis)
• Experience with manufacturing systems (e.g. ERP/MRP MES) is preferred
• Prior experience in semiconductor manufacturing wafer fabrication or high-tech production environments is a plus
• Familiarity with inventory control production support or supply chain coordination is preferred

Additional Information :

Hours are Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm Onsite in Palm Bay required.

This is an ITAR role - the candidate must be a U.S. citizen or U.S. Person.
