Job Summary

Manufacturing Planners develop andmaintainproduction build plans based on customer Bills of Material (BOM) and engineering requirements. They integrate these plans into Accurus Aerospace Tulsas manufacturing operations to ensure alignment with materials equipment and resource availability. The Manufacturing Planner ensures the efficient production of aerospace components while meeting established delivery schedules costobjectives and quality role is identified as requiring ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations) compliance; therefore qualified candidates must meet the definition of a U.S. Person (per EAR Part 772 and ITAR 120.15):An individual who is granted U.S. citizenship orAn individual who is granted U.S. permanent residence (i.e. a Green Card holder) orAn individual who is granted status as a protected personEssential FunctionsReview andvalidatedata entered in the Quote Master Import Tool for accuracyGeneratesaccurateand precise planning based onengineering drawings purchase orders and vendor configuration Manufacturing Engineering to develop and implement effective rework plansPrepare comprehensive technical information packages for aerospace parts and assembliesCoordinate closely with Programming to develop and implement repeatable efficient manufacturing processes aligned with customer design Master Routers in the ERP systemperengineering data defining materials BOMs and special processesDevelop andmaintainprocess documentationwork instructions travelers and routingsto ensure full traceability from raw material to final productEnsure all manufacturing processes and documentationcomply withindustry standards including AS9100 Nadcap and applicable FAA regulationsProvide production support through issue resolution and process improvement initiativesSupport and guide compliance audits and continuous improvement initiativesincluding RCCA supportRequired Education and Work ExperienceA bachelors degree in engineering Engineering Technology or a related technical field isrequired; a combination of specialized training and relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of Required Skills and AbilitiesKnowledge of aerospace finishing and processing requirements including heat treat coatings and surface treatmentsStrong understanding of aerospace machining practices specifications and CNC processesFamiliarity with milling operations cutting tools and part programming fundamentalsProficient in reading and interpreting blueprints technical drawings and GD&TBasicproficiencywith CAD systems (e.g. CATIAVericut)Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey technical information industry experience Demands and Work EnvironmentTo perform the essential functions of the role employees must be able to perform thefollowing activities with or without reasonable accommodations:Sit for prolonged periods at a desk and work on a computerRegularly stand and walk throughout the facility including all buildings and the manufacturing areas; occasionally navigating rough or uneven terrainRegularly lift carry (short distances) and push/pull up to 50 poundsOccasionally climb steps stairs or laddersOccasionally bend crawl stoop squat or kneelConstantly communicate verbally and in writing (English) using a phone textsor other messaging and emailVisual acuity to accurately interpret precision measuring instruments and todistinguish colors to assess and accurately respond to sensors indicators and colorvariable dashboardsUse hands and fingers tooperatecomputer keyboards and peripheralsmeasurement instruments and to physically examine manufactured partsWorking ConditionsWork is performed in a combination of locations including offices and the manufacturingshop environment where working conditions vary significantly; the employee will beexposed to:Moderate noise (regularly); excessive noise hearing protection required (occasionally)Dust smoke fumes/vapors and hazardous chemicals or materials (regularly)Extreme temperatures (occasionally)Hazardous equipment including forklifts hand tools cranes or other lifting devices complex machining centers and other equipment used in a machine shopenvironment (occasionally)The use of PPE including hearing protection eye protection and use of safety footwear isrequired.
