1stshift isMonday-Friday7am-330pm
2ndshift is Monday-Friday 3pm-1130pm
3rdshift is Monday-Friday 11pm-730am

How will you make an impact

Asa Machine Operator with Jabil you willberesponsible forthe setup operation and maintenance of automated manufacturing equipment specifically focusing on automatic wave solder machines and SMT (Surface Mount Technology) assembly lines.You willalsoensure high-quality soldering of multiple connections on printed circuit boards (PCBs) whilemaintainingefficiency and adherence to technical specifications.

Whatwill you do

Equipment Operation & Setup:Perform routine equipment setup operation and adjustment for automated manufacturing machinery. Coordinate with team members to configure machines according to technical setup sheets.
Wave Solder Specialization:Operateand maintain foam fluxers;utilizehydrometers to ensure specific gravity and resin ratios are within tolerance. Add bar solder flux and alcohol as.
Maintenance & Calibration:Dross the solder pot to remove impurities and perform daily required maintenance.Clean and adjust the flux density controller (FDC). Perform weekly deep cleaning and flux drainage.
Material Management:Ensure board loaders and feeders are continuously stocked with correct components. Prepare for upcoming runs by pre-loading feeders to minimize downtime. Maintainaccurateinventory logs of chemical and solder usage.
Quality Control:Monitorboards for soldering defects and ensure propercomponentseating. Operate LSM machines to verify solder paste volume and enter performance data into the CIQ system. Perform basic quality auditing testing and troubleshooting.
Process Documentation:Maintainall necessary production documentation logs and maintenance records. Follow work directions communicated via visual aids and setup sheets.
Safety & Organization:Maintaina clean orderly and organized work area (5S). Tube fallout parts and monitor machine rejects to ensure parts are sorted daily.
Compliance:Adhere to all safety health and environmental rules. Strictlycomply withall company security policies and procedures.

How will you get here

Education & Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent required.
At leastone year of related experience in automated manufacturing or wave solder operationsORan equivalent combination of education and experience.

Knowledge Skills & Abilities:

Strong communicationskills both verbal and written.
Ability to obtain andmaintainall required job-related certifications (e.g. IPC(printed circuit boards)standards).
Proficiencyin AutomatedOpticalInspectionorX-Ray machines reading setup sheets basic computer data entry and the use of measurement tools(hydrometersmicrometers calipers and others).
