General Description: This internship provides students with direct exposure to manufacturing operations production support activities work instruction development safety initiatives and
training coordination within a dynamic LSR injection molding manufacturing environment.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
Create and update production work instructions.
Support safety initiatives and training documentation.
Assist with production reporting and operational organization.
Analyze production performance data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
Support KPI development reporting and performance tracking initiatives.
Assist with operational performance reviews and continuous improvement projects.
Collaborate with Production Leadership to evaluate productivity quality and efficiency
metrics.
Help develop safety and training matrices.
Support manufacturing process improvements.
Collaborate with supervisors and production personnel.
Assist with operational efficiency initiatives.
Participate in shop floor improvement projects.
Identify non-conforming products or processes during inspections and ensure that proper
containment actions are taken.
Lead root cause analysis (RCA) for quality issues and implement corrective and
preventive actions (CAPA) in collaboration with the production engineering and quality
teams.
Document non-conformance reports (NCRs) track quality issues and provide feedback
to relevant teams on trends and recurring problems.
