Boeing Defense Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Manufacturing Manager to join our dynamic team at the Aerospace Composite Center (ACC) in Hazelwood MO.

Position Responsibilities:

• Manages employees performing activities in multiple manufacturing disciplines

• Develops and executes business plans policies and procedures and develops organizational and technical strategies

• Acquires resources provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements

• Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers stakeholders peers partners and direct reports

• Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches products and processes

• Manages develops and motivates employees

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• Candidates must have at least one year of experience in a leadership role (team leadertempmanager large scale cross functional project/program management or formal manager experience) OR have completed the Boeing internal course Exploring Leadership

• 3 years experience working in or supporting a manufacturing environment

• Experience analyzing data to extract insights for strategic decision-making and planning

• Experience using all the following Microsoft Office Applications (Word Excel and PowerPoint)

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Bachelors degree or higher

• Experience in the Aerospace & Defense Industry and/or the military

• Experience working with internal and external customers and suppliers

• Experience implementing lean methodologies and productivity improvements

• Experience interfacing with senior and executive leadership

• Experience with team building developing and motivating employees

Work Location:

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
