Job Summary
Great manufacturing doesnt happen by accident it happens when the right materials arrive at the right time production schedules are built on solid plans and a team is empowered to execute with precision. As a Manufacturing Operations Manager focused on Material Planning & Execution youll be the engine behind that alignment. Youll lead a team own the manufacturing planning processes and drive the kind of operational discipline that keeps production moving and customers satisfied.
This is a role for someone who brings people together around a shared goal and who finds genuine satisfaction in building systems developing talent and making the floor run better every day.
- Lead master planning and material execution processes including production scheduling and purchasing needs ensuring alignment with operational Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Partner cross-functionally to coordinate and expedite material flow from supplier delivery through internal department handoffs to keep production on schedule.
- Identify and implement process improvements that optimize inventory levels reduce waste and improve throughput.
- Hire develop and coach your team setting clear performance expectations supporting growth and building a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Serve as a resource and mentor for less experienced colleagues helping build team capability and consensus around operational decisions.
- Monitor production plan adherence and proactively surface risks proposing practical solutions when manufacturing complexity or interdependent production cycles require it.

Required:
Bachelors degree in a Supply Chain or related field but we are most interested in your total experience and professional achievements
Minimum 3 years of experience in sourcing procurement and/or supply chain
Alternatively a high school diploma or General Educational Development (GED) credential with at least 6 years of relevant procurement or supply chain experience
Demonstrated ability to manage supplier relationships and execute purchasing processes
Experience working within an ERP system (e.g. SAP Oracle)
Ability to lead a small team and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
Preferred:
Familiarity with sourcing policy application and category management
Experience managing cross-functional stakeholders and driving alignment across teams
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to propose practical solutions outside of standard parameters
