Manufacturing Maintenance Techinician

• Starts and shuts down injection molding machines.
• Troubleshoots injection molding machines.
• Assembles injection molds from start to finish for production runs.
• Removes and installs plastic injection molds of varying sizes and complexities in molding machines according to work order specifications.
• Sets up End of Arm tooling for robotic part removal.
• Ensures proper materials are used at each machine by managing raw molding materials ensuring traceability and preventing contamination.
• Provides molded components in a timely manner to ensure production schedules are met.
• Maintains set-up records on tools preventative maintenance and run profiles.
• Troubleshoots and makes repairs to Electrical Mechanical Hydraulic Pneumatic Systems to a minimum of 120v unassisted and up to 480v assisted.
• Performs minor repairs to plumbing systems.
• Performs Preventive Maintenance on all equipment in assigned areas.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Required Skills/Abilities:
• Basic understanding of Electrical systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair systems using LOTO procedures.
• Ability to read and comprehend Technical Manuals for various types of manufacturing equipment.
• Ability to use CMMS e-Mail and various spreadsheet applications.
• Basic mechanical aptitude or interest in working with machinery.
• Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow processes and procedures.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Familiarity with determining necessary tool accuracy to be appropriate with given tolerances.
• Strong understanding of and ability to apply measurement methods to inspection and/or testing.

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two (2) to five (5) years Manufacturing experience in a semi-skilled position preferred.
• Completion of Company provided Basic Technical Training Course within 18 months.
• Experience working in fast pace high change environment.

• Exposure to machine noise.
• Typical office/factory environment with possibility of exposure to heat in production area.
• Working conditions are normal for a high-volume manufacturing environment.
• Work may involve lifting of materials and product up to 50 pounds and working in and around heavy equipment.
• Working in this environment requires the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to eye safety glasses hearing protectors and work boots.
• This role may require walking in a non-climate-controlled manufacturing environment.
