Manufacturing Engineer Onsite

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for an Onsite position with a Global Medical Technology Company located in Kalamazoo MI. This is a 12 month contract opportunity.

This role is part of a product transfer team contributing to the delivery of high-impact cost-transformative projects. The successful candidate will operate across a network of stakeholders from product transfer operations and divisional partners providing engineering support and ensuring activities are documented in accordance with company procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Provide engineering support for product transfers ensuring that all activities are completed and documented in accordance with the latest company procedures
• Monitor and control progress of work ensuring sound application of engineering principles
• Create manufacturing documentation such as SOP DMR DHR PFMEA and Process Control Plans
• Train operators and sustaining engineers on production processes
• Write and execute equipment cleaning and process validations
• Ensure quality of process and product as defined in the appropriate operation and material specifications
• Investigate yield issues and implement improvements on the manufacturing line
• Ensure adherence to GMP and safety procedures

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in an engineering discipline
• 2 or more years experience in a manufacturing environment
• Experience with equipment and process validations
• Experience writing procedures for operating processes
• Proven track record of working in a team-based environment
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
• Innovative thinker with the ability to envision new and better ways of doing things
• Experience in executing complex problem-solving techniques related to manufacturing/design technical issues

Desired skills:

• Experience in an FDA regulated or regulated industry

Pay range: $43.53 - $53.53 per hour
