Machining knowledge of Swiss and or CNC and or Wire EDM sinkers offer market competitive compensation. Potential salary range for this role is $90k-$100k. Actual pay will be determined based on experience qualifications geographic location and other job-related factors permitted by Model:Monday Friday 100% onsiteWhat youll do:Follow all manufacturing Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) as defined by Viant Medicals practices policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)Provide technical support for manufacturing operations by troubleshooting production process equipment and quality issues to ensure safe efficient and compliant root cause investigations and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs) to improve quality reliability productivity and customer optimize validate and maintain manufacturing processes equipment and production methods to enhance throughput reduce costs and improve operational engineering changes new product introductions equipment qualifications process validations (IQ/OQ/PQ) and continuous improvement and maintain manufacturing documentation including SOPs work instructions process specifications validation protocols and process Lean Manufacturing initiatives focused on reducing waste defects inventory lead times and manufacturing costs while improving efficiency and floor space engineering projects involving process improvements fixture design facility layout material flow optimization and manufacturing with Quality Operations customers suppliers and cross-functional teams to support audits nonconformances compliance activities and the resolution of manufacturing equipment materials and processes to improve safety ergonomics reliability and overall manufacturing effectiveness while ensuring compliance with engineering quality and regulatory testing research and data-driven analysis to verify process performance product conformance and opportunities for continuous compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) company policies regulatory standards and applicable safety other duties as neededRequirementsKnowledge/Education:Bachelors Degree in Engineering or related field5 Years of experience in Engineering roleMedical Aerospace Pharms or Military Mfg. experienceNew Product Introduction experience Machining Environment CNC Swiss Lathes or GrindersProject impactSkills/Competencies:Advanced understanding of ISO13485 standard (or equivalent) Lean Six Sigma Methodologies PFMEA Minitab Oracle Configuration (or equivalent) Process/Equipment Validation NPI (New Product Introduction) Root Cause Analysis and SolidWorksGood Manufacturing PracticesDesigns of Experiments (DOE)Proficiency in Microsoft Office SoftwareProject Management and Lean Manufacturing experienceExcellent knowledge of statistical tools ability to manage multiple tasks and appropriate use of Design of Experiments (DOE) when developing recommendationsSPC (Statistical Process Control) knowledge preferredMust be flexible and adapt to changing environments and prioritiesExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsPhysical Requirements:Perform light non-strenuous administrative activities on a regular lifts up to 20 lbs. and carries up to 10 lbs.; may involve minimal bending pushing/pulling crawling climbing balancing or standing for extended manual dexterity to handle and manipulate small items visual acuity to distinguish colors assess spatial relationships and focus on fine details (e.g. using microscopes or similar equipment).Viant provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race color religion gender sexual orientation national origin age disability marital status amnesty or status as a covered veteran in accordance with applicable federal state and local laws.
