Job Summary
JOB SUMMARY
The Manufacturing Engineer I supports production operations by improving manufacturing processes increasing efficiency and ensuring product quality. This role contributes to the development and implementation of manufacturing solutions across a variety of products while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
- Assist in the design and implementation of manufacturing processes tools and fixtures.
- Identify troubleshoot and help resolve production issues defects and assembly challenges.
- Conduct time studies and process analysis to improve efficiency and reduce production costs.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering quality and production teams.
- Utilize Power BI to analyze data identify trends and provide actionable insights.
- Track and report key performance metrics including throughput efficiency downtime and quality.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Ensure compliance with all safety quality and regulatory standards.
- Assist in the selection evaluation and qualification of new equipment and technologies.
- Conduct root cause analysis and support implementation of corrective actions.
- Bachelors degree in Manufacturing Electrical Engineering or a related field required.
- 0-1 years of experience
- Basic knowledge of assembly testing and material handling processes.
- Familiarity with CAD tools such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD is a plus.
- Experience with data analysis tools including Power BI preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel Word PowerPoint).
- Understanding of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles.
- Ability to analyze production processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Strong analytical problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented cross-functional environment.
- Adaptable and able to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
