Job Summary

Overall ScopePerform all duties necessary under the general direction of the Manufacturing Manager to successfully develop new production methods as well as improving existing methods for the Fuel Injector Manufacturing RequirementsBachelor Degree in Engineering (Mechanical Electrical or Industrial)Excellent written and verbal communication skillsComputer skills MS Office and CAD software (AutoCAD ProEngineer SolidWorks)Experience developing tooling and equipment specificationsExperience with tooling and equipment vendors (quotations contracts and delivery/installation project management)Experience with Lean Manufacturing/Six Sigma tools or other problem solving toolsExperience developing/monitoring/improving complete manufacturing processesExperience with TS16949 requirementsProven track record of on schedule/under budget project managementEssential DutiesDevelop manufacturing process(es) for new productsSpec and procure all manufacturing equipment and toolingCreate process routings and manufacturing process metricsDevelop Process FMEAPerforms manufacturing cost analysisAssists in make or buy cost analysis for component partsImproves process/ Reduce manufacturing costs by use of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma ToolsResolves technical issues with respect to process performance (TPM OEE)Assists in product transfer from development to productionDevelops/Implements training methods for manufacturing and maintenanceDevelop preventive maintenance procedures and metricsErgonomic FocusWorking at desks and production floor work stations Reading and written communication including use of telephone and computerStanding/walking/sitting during 8 hour work dayLifting up to 20 lbs frequently#LI-CB1 #LI-ONSITE
