Manufacturing Electrician (3rd shift)

Hours: 3rd Shift 10PM-6:30 AM

• Read and interpret drawings blueprints schematics and electrical code specifications

• Troubleshoot install or repair electrical wiring conduit feeders breakers and other electrical

  components using appropriate electrical test equipment

• Perform electrical maintenance and emergency repairs implement modifications and carry

  out the facilitys preventive maintenance program during the assigned shift

• Install and repair electrical fixtures apparatus and control equipment

• Plan layouts for new electrical wiring installations when required

• Conduct regular inspections of all electrical equipment including switchgear and motors as

  part of the preventive maintenance program

• Maintain electro-pneumatic control systems by adjusting calibrating and repairing them

• Install new electrical and electronic equipment and electrical wiring in compliance with the

  national electrical code and company standards

• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with PLCs

• Assist the purchasing department by providing technical guidance on equipment and

  electrical parts

• Work independently with minimal supervision and take initiative when needed

• High school diploma or GED required

• Ability to read and interpret construction plans prints specifications and Operations and

  Maintenance Manuals

• Ability to stand for long period of time

• Ability to lift 50 Lbs

• At least five years of prior industrial experience in a manufacturing related type of

  environment

• The candidate we seek must read and write in English language
