Manufacturing Director of Engineering

Position Summary

Delva Tool & Machine is seeking a Director of Engineeringfor our Cinnaminson NJlocation.The Director of Engineering is responsible for overseeing the engineering processes that support machining assembly inspection and production operations. Working closely with Operations Quality Programming and Production youll help ensure every new job is launched successfully while driving continuous improvement across the organization.

• Lead and develop a team of manufacturing/process engineers and engineering technicians.
• Drive process improvements that improve quality efficiency and throughput.
• Oversee manufacturing process documentation work instructions tooling fixturing and workflow development.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to support new product introductions and resolve manufacturing challenges.
• Champion standardization continuous improvement and operational excellence throughout the engineering organization.
• Support quality initiatives engineering change management and regulatory compliance within a precision manufacturing environment.
• Help identify opportunities for new technologies automation and process optimization that support long-term growth.

• Progressive engineering leadership experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience leading engineers or technical teams.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes tooling fixturing and process development.
• Experience supporting CNC machining precision manufacturing aerospace defense or other highly regulated industries.
• Familiarity with quality management systems such as AS9100 ISO 9001 or similar standards.
• Excellent communication problem-solving and cross-functional leadership skills.
• A Bachelors degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline (preferred).
