Manufacturing Cost Analyst

Job Summary
The Manufacturing Cost Analyst is responsible for analyzing monitoring and controlling manufacturing costs to improve profitability and operational efficiency. This role partners with operations supply chain and finance teams to ensure accurate cost reporting identify cost reduction opportunities and support strategic decision-making.
Your day-to-day work may include but is not limited to:
Analyze product costs including materials labor and overhead.
Maintain and update standard costs in ERP systems.
Perform variance analysis (material labor overhead) and provide actionable insights.
Support monthly closing activities including inventory valuation and cost reporting.
Partner with production and engineering teams to evaluate cost impacts of process changes.
Develop and monitor KPIs related to manufacturing efficiency and cost performance.
Identify cost-saving opportunities and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Assist in budgeting forecasting and financial planning related to manufacturing operations.
Conduct profitability analysis by product line customer or plant.
Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting standards.
Professional Qualifications

Compensation
The pay range for this position is $70304 to $75000 annually plus 10% bonus. Please note that the pay range provided is a good-faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be dependent on factors including but not limited to the individuals qualifications experience knowledge skills and abilities as well as physical work location within the state.
