Manufacturing Assistant

Schedule:

7am-7pm on a rotating 8 day schedule. 4 days on and 4 days off then rotates to alternating shift.

A growing manufacturing company is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Manufacturing Assistant to join its production team. This hands-on role supports quality assurance packaging and material handling processes while helping maintain efficient workflow and product excellence.

Quality Control

• Perform visual and physical inspections of finished products
• Identify defects or inconsistencies and take corrective action
• Accurately document inspection results and quality issues
• Support continuous improvement of quality procedures

Production Support

• Assist with loading materials into production equipment
• Prepare and load packaging materials (cartons wrappers etc.)
• Repack or rework damaged/non-conforming products
• Monitor inventory levels of packaging supplies
• Ensure packaging materials meet required standards

Safety & Efficiency

• Collaborate with production and quality teams
• Follow all safety procedures and material handling guidelines
• Maintain a clean organized and safe work environment

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Manufacturing or production experience is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Commitment to safety and company policies
• Ability to lift and move materials as needed

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Comfortable working in a warehouse/production environment
• Manual dexterity and ability to use hand tools
