Manchester Tank Production Supervisor, Quincy

Responsibilities: Including the following.  Other duties may be assigned as needed.

• A Champion of McWane Way values and principles with the ability to drive the same through production team members.
• Formulates and maintains production objectives and coordinates objectives with procedures to maximize production reliability repeatability and efficiency. 
• Direct team members engaged in production activities to ensure the continuous production of conforming products in the most efficient and safe manner possible.  
• Interviewing and training team members. 
• Manage team members in planning decision-making facilitating and process improvement; make oneself available to management and support staff.
• Follow observe coach and enforce all policies safety policies and procedures; report potentially unsafe conditions; use equipment and materials properly.
• Appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining team members addressing complaints and resolving problems.
• Oversee teams time and attendance.
• Looks for opportunities to get involved in safety environmental process changes and overall improvement efforts.
• Follow all EHS guidelines and applicable procedures.
• Read understand and follow the Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and EHS Work Instructions.
• Report any unsafe conditions or incidents in a timely manner to a member of management.
• Shut down process if unsafe.
• Follow proper machine shutdown procedures.
• Regular dependable attendance and punctuality.

Education and/or Experience:

• Bachelors degree (B. A.) from a four-year college or university; or two to four years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Salary Range: $62000-$72000 annually.
