Forvis Mazars is currently seeking a Managing Director on our Capital Advisors this position your primary responsibility will be growing a practice through the execution of investment banking engagements new business development and relationship management. What You Will Do:
- Managing investment banking transactions - Deal origination and engagement execution for mergers & acquisitions debt and equity financing company divestitures and strategic options analysis engagements
- Client/prospect interactions - Developing internal and external relationships to source M&A transactions prepare and deliver client/prospect presentations working closely with Forvis Mazars partners/managers and initiatives groups in developing client relationships and marketing strategies
- Marketing support - Preparing and implementing business development strategies including participating in corporate finance-related industry conferences and public speaking opportunities assisting in developing articles marketing letters news releases and other avenues to generate exposure and build the brand
- Team building Contributing to a high-performing national investment banking practice through active coaching mentoring and recruiting
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelors or Masters Degree in Finance Accounting Economics or related field MBA preferred
- The FINRA Series 63 and 79 or willingness to pursue
- Prior experience at a market-leading investment banking firm
- Experience in industries such as manufacturing & distribution food & beverage technology business services and healthcare
- Thorough knowledge of sell-side and buy-side representation debt/equity/distressed restructurings deal structuring and capital raising
- Previous success and proven track record in new business development and closing investment banking transactions (book of business contacts)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Significant client interaction and experience particularly showing the ability to develop strong and influential client relationships
- Willingness and ability to travel when necessary
